Caitríona was seventeen when she first really stopped in front of a painting.
She'd been going through a difficult time — the kind that takes you out of ordinary life for a while and leaves you with more questions than answers. With time to rest and nowhere in particular to be, she started spending her days in galleries. Not for any particular reason at first. Just because they were quiet, and quiet was what she needed.
It was the Rothko room at Tate Modern that changed something. Those enormous canvases, humming with colour and feeling. In a period of overwhelm, that room was somewhere she could breathe. She felt a stillness there she hadn't found anywhere else.
That feeling sent her to The Courtauld Institute of Art, where she studied History of Art and spent years thinking seriously about what art does to people and why it matters. Then, like many people who study something they love, she found herself working in a world that had little to do with it.
Corporate life was fine. But it wasn't the Rothko room.
So at 29, she decided to build something that brought her back. Back to art, back to artists, back to the quieter, more meaningful version of life that galleries had always given her. That thing is Odd Wall.

Not art as decoration. Not art as investment. Art as something you chose, that means something to you, that makes you stop for a second when you walk past it on an ordinary Tuesday morning.
We work exclusively with independent artists from around the world, giving them a fair platform and a genuine income — at least 50% of profits from every purchase goes directly to the artist whose work you're buying. Every print is produced on museum-grade archival paper, framed in solid wood, built to last decades. The works in our collection can't be found anywhere else.
