Finning
No duty or import fees
This is a fine art print of an original artwork by Paul Ward completed in watercolour and ink on paper.
Without predators in the sea, a healthy ocean is impossible. Millions of sharks are killed each year, whether by accident as "bycatch", for the finning industry, or out of fear (thanks Mr. Speilberg!).
A large portion of these deaths are due to their fins, which are cut off and preserved before the still living shark is thrown overboard to drown.
It's more than a bowl of soup.
This wall art is available to purchase framed or unframed.
Paul Ward is a painter and printmaker whose work blends lyrical storytelling with a fierce love for the natural world. Based in France, they have built a career creating portraits, commissions, and evocative works that confront unsustainable practices while celebrating the beauty of animals, plants, and wild places. Driven by equal parts fury and wonder, their art champions the “little guys” — from pigeons to forests — reminding us of what’s worth protecting.
