Temptation
No duty or import fees
Another print from Aleksandr Mihaltchuk's series of gouache on paper paintings of 2023-2024. The series sees portraits of women wearing hats depicting the urban landscape of Lisbon. The title "Temptation" comes from the image of yellow berry fruit near the mouth of a lady; it is tempting her to try, but is it safe?
Aleksandr Mihaltchuk is an award-winning artist based in Portugal whose works have been exhibited nationally. His most recent figurative works are a fusion between fantasy and realism, portraying another world. Each of Mihaltchuk's compositions is imbued with narratives, as if they are "scenes from some kind of film". He creates using oils on canvas.
